    LOL! I haven’t seen anything like this in Manila yet. But then, I haven’t gone out to the malls or restaurants for several weeks. Who are you rooting for?

    You haven’t seen the rest of World Cup crazy Cebu!

    If there’s a good match, the roads were deserted as if there’s a Pacquiao fight. Perhaps because of the heavy tourist presence/expat community here in Cebu, the Cebuanos caught the WC bug as well. Even dance clubs and restos were empty.

    I rooted for England (just because I’m a fan), Netherlands is also a favorite (our best friend is a Dutch!) yet because of our ancestral roots, I’m for Espana.

    @Leif – It was hot and humid when i took that photo. Interesting though, about 80% of the guests around the clubhouse pool that day were Europeans. The night before, Netherlands won against Slovakia, they were either celebrating or cooling off their heads.

    I’m not football fun that much but I’m crazy about world cup. May be its patriotism. ? I feel that spain is strong enough to win this one.
